Farm Visit by Kavi Bharathi Vidyalaya Students

It was a memorable day ( 7/25/2015 )  in our SK Organic farm's journey. Close to 150 students and teachers of 9th and 10th standard from Kavi Bharathi Vidyalaya , Tiruvottiyur, Chennai visited our organic farm and learned about organic farming, organic matters used in OF and cultivation techniques. 

Our founders Prakash kannaiyan , Ahamed Sha  and founder of Mahathi Biotech DR.Babu graced the occasion.

Prakash Kannaiyan detailed student about various tools and techique used in organic farms and benifits  of OF.   Dr. Babu addressed the students about micro/ macro algae and it's uses in OF.

Small exhibition of native seeds, millet,  organic manures, various types of sea weeds species, spirulina, tools & thier uses were detailed to the students.

Students had amazing time in farm visit learning about rare timber trees, fruits and vegetable. They also had hands on ploughing lands using bulls.

Thanks to the entire SKOF team, lead by Jayaraj and Kavi Bharathi Vidyalaya school principal for this great initiative for bringing the awareness among students.
